23rd Street Studio

About Studio

The 23rd Street Figure Drawing Studio is located in a large corner storefront in a beautiful 19th century San Francisco Edwardian. The life drawing groups are held in a room approximately 560 square feet, with high ceilings, good heat, industrial carpeting, and 5 rows of track-lights on independent dimmer switches.

There is a large raised stage for the models, surrounded by easels, tables and drawing horses, as well as two elevated drawing terraces. There is also a closet full of drawing boards of various styles and sizes.

The space has a great sound system and a large (1000 CD) music collection.
